Christmas Card Club - August 2012

Now for a fun little hop..........some friends and I are in a little Christmas card club.....and we take turns sending out packages to everyone that include the same supplies.....then at the end of the month we have a blog hop to show what we've all created!!!

This is our first month....and it was so completely chaotic and crazy for me that I only got one card made....and just in the nick of time too! LOL

So our delightful package contained the Waltzingmouse nutcracker image, some gorgeous snowflakes, fabulous Echo Park holiday dp, beautiful buttons and some elegant silver cording!!!! Well I did have to use my own glitter....but I couldn't resist a glitzy panel to put us all in the sparkly holiday mood!!!! LOL

This is the new Penguin Joy.......I'm in LOVE!!!!! I adore penguins and this one is a cutie!!!! Yep....I had to "go there" with pink....and of course some sparkle. And I could NOT resist this little penguin button!!! I used Pure Luxury White, Wild Dandelion and Innocent Pink along with the Yellow Gingham Ribbon.

Oh it's no secret that I completely am crazy for snowmen too!!! And this one is toooooo stinkin' cute!!! This one is called Snowman Wishes. I love a blue and white winter card.....so I used Pure Luxury Blue Raspberry for this one and had to bling it up and tie it all together with some fun twine!!!

This one is Merry Tree....and I wanted to make a black and white card....the oval panel is glittered and I added some snowflake trim and pearls.....I was trying for a more elegant look....but I think the glitter layer covered too much of the intricate design in the tree. I'll have to keep experimenting...good thing hubby doesn't mind being covered in glitter when I hug him after all my glitterification projects!!!! LOL

Well I think you'll agree that my Silhouette was used so much for this release!!!! Just look at that little owl!!! The new Sun Kissed Autumn STV Kit is so FUN for Fall!!!! And the patterned paper is just perfect!!! I just stamped the owl onto the shape and colored him to match the dp!

I do soooo love Fall and cooler weather!!! I can't wait!!! The new free with 3 this month, Fall Foliage, is so elegant! I stamped the leaves in fall colors and used the new Pure Luxury colors Cherry Red, Tomato Soup and Honey Mustard!! Along with the Sun Kissed Autumn dp!! Yep...had to add some bling! ;)

Gina K Designs Inspiration Hop Day #2......Light Hearted Wishes, American Made & Stippled Nature!!!

First up is Light Hearted Wishes by Tami!!! Isn't this set just too cute?? I decided on a fun little lamp with some pearly accessories on the paper pieced shade! And I just love polka dots and gingham together! I figured I'd go with a "bright" theme for this card! Ha! ;) I used Pure Luxury Wild Dandelion and Hello Sunshine dp.

Next up is a fun set called American Made designed by Becky!! Now this may be a sunburst design...but y'all just KNEW I wouldn't be able to resist making it PIIIIINK!!!! LOL I used the Silhouette to cut out the sentiment shape and the layer beneath it! I'm getting the hang of my fun new machine!!

And now the lovely Stippled Nature designed by Beth!!! Well of course you had to KNOW my butterflies would be pink too!!! LOL But I kept it CAS.....even though there are some pearls....well just a few you know! ;) I also used the Silhouette to cut out the butterflies!

Gina K. Designs Inspiration Hop Day #1 - Basket Additions 3 and Country Roads!!!

Melanie's cool new Basket Additions 3 made for some girly fun for me!! I used the basket from Holiday Basket and my Silhouette to cut out the images....sooo much nicer than fussy cutting! LOL I used my favorite color combo.....chocolate and pink....and lots of girlie frills like pearls and ribbon and a lacey edge also cut with the Silhouette!!!

Theresa's new set, Country Roads, sure fits my life!! Although we don't have a windmill....yet! ;) I love this new Pure Luxury Cherry red!!! I do love my reds!!! That's cuz they're related to pink don'tchaknow! LOL I used Tan Leather along with the new paper pack Sun Kissed Autumn and some fun multi color ribbon and bling!

SNSS August New Release Hop!!!!!

I am sooooo thrilled to get to participate in the Sweet N Sassy August Release Hop and announce that I'm the SNSS August Guest Designer!!!! I'll be posting some of my creations on the SNSS Blog throughout August!!!

I have to say that of course this release has some pretty darn awesome and darling stamps....but I just LOVED this tree!!! I'm so ready for Fall....I hate summer!
